About Methods Winter Brand Systems

A brand guidelines service for growing companies in Chicago, Philadelphia and Denver whose brand is now made by many hands.

What we do

Methods Winter Brand Systems writes brand guidelines and builds the parts that make them usable: logo rules and file kits, type and color standards, tone of voice sections and templates. We work for companies that are growing past the point where one person can check every piece, and we focus on Chicago, Philadelphia and Denver so calls line up with your working day.

How we approach it

We start from the material your team already makes, because that shows where rules are missing. Every rule gets a drawing or an example, and every section is reviewed before the next one starts. Projects are quoted in writing and delivered online.

When we're a good fit

We suit companies with an identity worth keeping and a team that needs rules around it. If you're looking for a full rebrand with naming and strategy research, a media campaign or someone to run your social accounts, we'll say so in our reply and suggest what to look for instead.

About the samples

This site shows no client logos, client quotes or finished projects, because we only publish client work with permission. The rulebook pages on the samples page are concepts for imaginary companies, and the photos are AI-generated samples, labeled as such.

The name and domain

Methods Winter Brand Systems runs on the domain methodswinter.bond. The name is a brand name only and has no connection to any other company.

What you keep

At the end of a project you own the rulebook, its source files, the logo kit and every template, once the job is paid. Nothing is locked inside a subscription tool or a platform only we can edit. The files are in standard formats, so your own designers, a future agency or a new marketing hire can open and update them. We keep a copy for a while in case you lose something, and delete it on request.

Questions we ask early

Three questions shape most projects. Who makes branded material today, and in which tools? Which pieces go out most often, and which cause the most trouble? And who will own the rulebook after we hand it over? The answers decide which sections get the most depth and which templates come first.
